LOOKING FOR PLACEMENTS
Whilst looking at placements I came across this one displayed by FEIYUEMA, I like the responsibilities they are offering for this internship, as I want to focus quite heavily on social media as I feel this is an important platform, that actually reaches individuals in a personal and fast pace way. Therefore I like how I would be assisting in managing all the social media platforms. I also like how I would be involved in the website as well, as all these aspects that define the brand.
However the disappointing part about this internship is the length of it, as I would prefer one to be 12 months, as I can receive a deep insight into the industry.
However the only negatives are that the time period is too short and it's also not paid, as in order to do a placement for sandwich year it needs to be paid.
I found this placement on Fashion Workie and the list of responsibilities caught my eye. As I like how it's very hands on and it's allowing you to really get a feel for all the different duties. Additionally I am able to navigate my way through the adobe software's and am highly positive, have a can do attitude and always have enthusiasm, therefore feel it would be suited to me.
The aspects I like about this description of the job is how their are different segments within the role, as I would be completing work related to media, social media and general admin. Therefore I like how it's creative as well as completing research for features concerning social media such as for paid posts. Additionally I'm a very organised individual therefore feel I could complete the general admin responsibilities.
Additionally this placement is 12 months, which is the length I want to complete a placement for, as I feel I can gain valuable experience and knowledge about the Industry.
The aspects I like about this job are the range of responsibilities I would be doing, which are all related to things I like and have interest in. This is also a job I would like to do in the future once graduated. Additionally I like how I would be creating and posting content on social media, and also researching relevant influencers that the brand could work with and collaborations with other brands. As these aspects both really interest me, and from past work experience I've completed a similar task to this with influencers and enjoyed completing it.
However again I feel the length of this placement is too short as I am looking for 12 months.
